Client Story:

Daniel had his initial interview with a MOSAIC Case Manager in October 2007, Seven days after having arrived in Canada. He was very eager to find work. Daniel had Upper Intermediate/Lower Advanced English communication skills, a solid work history and education in Information Technology (GIS focus in the forest industry).

His Case Manager determined that Daniel required job search skills and tools (job search strategies, Labour Market Information, resume, cover letter, interview skills) and he was referred to a Job Search program at MOSAIC. By mid-November Daniel had built up his confidence, obtained local Labour Market Information, and had a superb resume. He had also learned valuable networking and interviewing skills. He landed a job while still in the program. Currently, he is working full-time as a System Analyst with a salary of $60,000.00 per year. Daniel started work in November 2007.
