English for Tourism and Retail Sales

MOSAIC English for Tourism and Retail Sales is a FREE language course

This course is for you if you:

  • You are interested in working in tourism or retail but are unemployed, underemployed or working in another sector
  • You have Intermediate English Language skills (minimum CLB 5 in Speaking and Listening and CLB 4 in Reading and Writing)
  • You are a Permanent Resident
  • You can commit to the full length of the program (not a full time student)

You will learn how to interact with your co-workers and supervisors in the workplace.

You will also:

  • Learn valuable communication skills for the Canadian workplace
  • Get the  skills need to look for a job
  • Communicate confidently and appropriately with co-workers, supervisors and customers
  • Have opportunities to interact and network with Tourism and Retail Sales employers and experts

Schedule
The English for Tourism and Retail Sales class requires face-to-face time as well as online study to be completed each week in MOSAIC Online Classrooms.
 

The class starts November 9, 2015 to March 17, 2015 (with a winter break) and runs:

Monday

6:00 – 9:00 PM

Wednesday

6:00 – 9:00 PM

Online study

3 hours/week
