With over 300 volunteers MOSAIC has much to be grateful for. Our volunteers serve in many ways; helping with English Language programs, mentoring skilled immigrants in their job search, acting as community hosts to newcomers, and working with seniors. They are the heart of several programs, and extend our capacity to serve our clients. They truly are stars!

On March 9th 2011 MOSAIC and the India Mahila Association partnered to present JAAGO: Empowerment Through Access

This International Women's Day Event was a part of the Empowerment Through Access - Legal Education and Preventing Violence Project at MOSAIC, funded by the Law Foundation of Ontario. Together, MOSAIC and IMA developed an educational and entertaining evening for South Asian women. The event presented workshops related to family violence and encouraged women's empowerment.

The event also featured a Community Resource and Wellness Gallery. We hope that women walked away from the event with more knowledge about resources available to them and also had a great time!
