NURSE-NEXT-DOOR WORKSHOP
On March 29th, 2011, Brett, from Nurse-Next-Door, came to MOSAIC to talk about his company and the services it offers. He spoke about their hiring practices in the fast growing Home Management, Personal Care and Companionship Industry in the Lower Mainland. Over 35 people attended.
Nurse-Next-Door hiring practice is based on client needs and is sensitive to their client's culture and traditions. Some clients need weekly visits, others daily and some 24 hour care in their homes. Services range from companionship, housekeeping, shopping and personal care, to more medically directed services. The company hires foreign trained workers and those waiting for professional Canadian designations.
