"The Vietnamese Probation Support Program assists in bridging the cultural
and linguistic gap by providing consultation and support to probation
officers and Vietnamese clients accessing probation services."

The goal of the program

1.     To work with probation officers in supporting Vietnamese clients.

2.     To provide Vietnamese clients with access to services that address their specific   needs.

Client eligibility

• Vietnamese speaking
• Currently on probation and referred by a probation officer
• 18 or older

Services Provided

1.     Information and referrals

2.     Follow ups to each referral

3.     Language support

4.     Short-term counselling

5.     Consultations with clients and workers

6.     Home visits with probation officers
