The certification process can be quite complex for new immigrants and those in attendance received valuable resources about the provincial regulatory bodies, colleges and organizations; website information on the application process and which examinations are required. Participants were urged to conduct extensive research, start the process NOW, and be open to moving to rural areas where employment opportunities may be greater.
